I recently returned from a weeklong trip to Italy, where I stayed in this gorgeous villa, Fattoria di Cinciano, in the region of Tuscany. Even though I was there on vacation, I couldn't help but go into planning mode and discuss all of the possibilities that were there for a small destination wedding. The villa sleeps 16 and is surrounded by ancient buildings converted into apartments, allowing enough space for all of your guests. There are so many activities to do there and ways to incorporate your guests for a weeklong wedding celebration. Here are some of my ideas for a destination wedding to Fattoria di Cinciano.
Spend a day touring the winery located on the property, and finish with a wine and olive oil tasting. Their Chianti Classico was a favorite along with the olive oil on bruschetta (toasted bread seasoned with garlic, olive oil, and salt).
Take a day trip to Florence for spectacular shopping and fascinating history. Hire a guide to take you through the museums and cathedrals and explain all of the history and art in detail.
There are various games scattered throughout the property of Fattoria di Cinciano including billiards, bocce ball, foosball, and ping pong. Organize a tournament involving all of the wedding guests for some old fashioned fun.

The staff will come into the spacious kitchen of the villa and give you and your guests a cooking class. Learn how to make pasta from scratch and wild boar, a (delicious) local favorite. Serve this meal, made with love, for your rehearsal dinner.
There are many churches in Tuscany, where you can be married (do not forget to make it legal in the United States) or select a spot on the vineyard with a breathtaking view for your ceremony. Can you imagine walking down these stairs to your ceremony in the rose garden?
Set up long tables on the villa's terrace for an intimate reception with an amazing view. This space would look great with lights strung throughout the trees.
After spending a terrific wedding week with your closest family and friends, jet off to Rome for a fabulous honeymoon with just you and your sweetie!

A Tuscan wedding makes a wedding ceremony a sweet moment for the couple. Having a location with fabulous flowers, vineyards, and baroque renaissance church.. it would be truly filled with fun, sweet moments
