Hope you are all enjoying a
great Memorial Day weekend!
We are excited to share a Gender Reveal Party we've been planning for the past few weeks. When our mama-to-be, Alex, went to her ultrasound, the technician wrote down the gender of the baby and sealed it in an envelope. We picked up the envelope and prepared some sweet treats for the party.
Our theme was "Sweet
Sour Salty." A cravings table was set up with delicious snacks
and desserts. Guests
used paper cones to grab their goodies.
We had Sweets-- cream puffs, cake pops and lemon cutie cookies.
Salty Cravings--kettle potato chips, kettle corn, peanut butter filled pretzels.
Sours--Lemonheads and sour patch kids.
We served sparkling lemonade and lemon water in cups with custom made "S" (for Sweet, Sour, Salty) stickers.
When guests arrived, they picked a pink or blue pin
to wear indicating what gender they predicted the baby would be. There was a card with Old Wives Tales
listed to help them with their choice.
Here is TEAM PINK and TEAM BLUE.
For the big reveal we had cake pops for guests and a large
box tied with a ribbon for Mom and Dad.
When the ribbon was taken off the box, a set of helium balloons floated
to the ceiling. Guests bit into
their cake pops at the same time to reveal the gender.
It's....a....
Congratulations!!

I presume the big sister was not impressed with the blue balloons that floated from the box?
Darling ideas!
