We have a favorite recipe that we make every St. Patrick's day. It's been fun to do this tradition with my kids.

My family is from Scotland (generations ago) and we were always told that Scots wear orange on St Patricks day. That has always been our family tradition. I'm a bigger fan of green than orange though! That print is beautiful!

Chicagoans do not hold back when celebrating St. Patrick's day. Which is why at the University of Illinois the Irish Illini student organization holds an Unofficial St. Pat's day (about) two weeks before the actual day. This is mostly due to the fact that St. Pat's day always falls on the their Spring Break, and no one wanted to miss out on the celebration.
