Congratualtions! The winner of the 2Modern.com Olympic Party Idea Contest is Georgia Girl:

"Watch Olympics Present as we Remember Olympics Past! Come to the party dressed as a reminder of an Olympics past. For example, partygoers could dress in a toga to represent the original Greek Olympics, in 60's clothes for the 1960 Rome Olympics, in 80's clothes from the LA Olympics, cowgirl from Calgary, etc. Provide plenty of advance notice so that partygoers can have time to come up with really creative ideas. Wikipedia has a list of games and years. Give medals out to the best outfits. Bonus points go to those dressed in sports attire too (think long tennis skirts from early Olympics, ice skating outfits from winter olympics). For food, set up stations with cuisine from various past host cities (sushi from Tokyo (1964), Sapporo (1972) and Nagano (1998)). Be sure to include a placecard that has the cities and years represented by the food."
