Gosh, I LOVE spring. I think a "First Bloom" party would be fun when all the plants are just starting to sprout host an early afternoon outdoor tea!

How about a "Springing From Your Garden" party for your friends. Provide inexpensive, colorful flower pots, pansies or seedlings from a nursery, and some dirt. Let each person plant a couple of pots of flowers (or herbs, hot peppers, etc) to take home with them.

Serve simple hors d'oeuvres on spring themed floral plates and enjoy good friends and conversation. Send everyone home with the promise that Spring has sprung.

What a great time of the year! I just hosted a preppy golf party here at my home! Every thing was pink and green down to the chinese lanterns I found! I set a miniature golf course and served club sandwiches and pomogranate margaritas! We had a blast!

Think "SPRING[s]"...Have curly fries, drinks with those spirally lime garnish things, decorate (tastefully) with springs, slinkies or curled ribbon...haha

Too literal?...ok, how about Think "GREEN"...have an eco-friendly party to celebrate the season! Do an e-invitation to save paper, use recycled products, serve organic food, use candle light instead of electricity...there is even eco-friendly booze out there!

A great theme for a Spring Party is "A Hot Cocktail Party to melt away those Winter Blues".

I just did a great "Spring Cleaning" themed spring luncheon, using a pink Barbie washer as my centerpiece anchor. I had an antique iron, washboard and some other cute centerpiece things..actually used standing clothespins for the placecard holders..what a blast! The table was all set in pink, blue and brown...had a contemporary flair with white dishes and polka dot scrapbooking paper angled down the center to serve as the table runner. Great fun!

How about a NEW Spring Moon party.
Where you think about this years' gardens and plantings and perhaps
garden designs. You can invite people who are interested in that sort of thing, where each person brings some new ideas, or their own plans for a garden, or new patio, and then a discussion can take place
around a nice evening outdoor fire, with some food of course. Also, if you are really ready
to go to work, the host can have an early attendance for yard clean up. Sharing new plants with a perineal plant swap. Garden seed swaps where your collected seeds are packaged just nicely, and shared too!
Such a great day for an April
Aries NEW MOON party.
